Position: Mental Health Advanced Practice Provider

PrairieStar Health Center, a PCMH Level III facility, is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to perform medication management and MAT/MOUD. Position highlights

• Choice of a four or five-day work week.
• Resources to help achieve work/life balance and high-quality care for patients: integrated behavioral health model, nursing, IT and quality support staff, AI scribe, lab, dental, vision and an integrated EHR.

Position Responsibilities

• Responsible for evaluating clients in order to diagnose and treat psychiatric disorders including substance abuse, emotional, behavioral or mental health disorders.
• Establish and follow up with medication regimen if warranted by evaluation.

Qualifications

• Board certified PMHNP or PA with at least two years of psychiatric experience required.
• Active Kansas License required.
• Current DEA required.
