Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional patient service in a fast-paced medical office environment. This position is 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes, including scheduling appointments and verifying insurance information.
- Collect payments at check in based on the procedures and guidelines provided.
- Utilize eClinicalWorks software for managing patient information and appointment scheduling.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare providers regarding patient needs and inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with health regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a medical office or clinic setting is highly desirable.
- Strong patient service skills with a focus on providing excellent care.
- Proficiency in administrative tasks and office management practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a professional demeanor.
