What Your Role Requires

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional patient service in a fast-paced medical office environment. This position is 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Manage patient check-in and check-out processes, including scheduling appointments and verifying insurance information.
  • Collect payments at check in based on the procedures and guidelines provided.
  • Utilize eClinicalWorks software for managing patient information and appointment scheduling.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare providers regarding patient needs and inquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with health regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a medical office or clinic setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong patient service skills with a focus on providing excellent care.
  • Proficiency in administrative tasks and office management practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a professional demeanor.
